Saying Yes to the Dress..

March 17, 2017

Finding any dress can be difficult let alone "the dress" - as a littler girl we might have dreamed about it. Or as time went on we might have seen a famous model/actress etc wearing something that we fell in love with. No matter what we have in our minds the mixture of excitement and fear walking into a dress shop can be overwhelming.  There is so much pressure on a bride to look her very best that day and the dress is a critical component of this.  One piece of advice I can give you:

Listen to your Stylist!

Not only do they see a million brides every year in addition to the amount of dresses they know what is going to work with your body.  It doesn't matter if you are an apple, pear or banana, they will help you find something that will look absolutely stunning on you! And lets face it, when you are all dolled up in a beautiful dress that you feel amazing in, you will radiate beauty throughout your entire wedding day!

I got the pleasure of visiting the Dress Theory in San Diego and working with Shannon who was absolutely incredible!  Not only is the staff amazing and helpful, the shop itself is absolutely adorable!  It is a small craftsman house stocked to the brim with breath-taking dresses.  It makes you feel girlie and beautiful and I didn't even try any dresses on!

So not only was I lucky enough to visit this incredible shop, I got to follow along this BEAUTIFUL bride as she chose a dress!

Who doesn't love to play dress up in a shop like this? Katy looked amazing in almost any dress which made it even more fun to strut her stuff around the salon and take pictures for me!

So which dress did she choose??? You'll just have to wait and see!!!
